RESOLUTION NO. 66-26 
A RESOLUTION OF THE MAYOR AND COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF 
BUCKEYE, ARIZONA, DESIGNATING THE CHIEF FISCAL OFFICER FOR 
OFFICIALLY SUBMITTING THE FISCAL YEAR 2026 ANNUAL EXPENDITURE 
LIMITATION REPORT TO THE ARIZONA AUDITOR GENERAL; PROVIDING 
FOR REPEAL OF CONFLICTING RESOLUTIONS; PROVIDING FOR 
SEVERABILITY; AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR, CITY MANAGER, CITY 
ATTORNEY, CITY CLERK AND CHIEF FISCAL OFFICER TO TAKE ALL 
STEPS NECESSARY TO CARRY OUT THE PURPOSE AND INTENT OF THIS 
RESOLUTION ON BEHALF OF THE GOVERNING BODY. 
WHEREAS, A.R.S. § 41-1279.07(E) requires each county, city, town, and community 
college district to annually designate a Chief Fiscal Officer to officially submit the current year’s 
Annual Expenditure Limitation Report (“AELR”) on behalf of the public body, and to provide that 
designation to the Auditor General by July 31; and 
WHEREAS, the Mayor and Council of the City of Buckeye (the “City”) have chosen to 
designate Keith Fallstrom as the City’s Chief Fiscal Officer; and 
WHEREAS, the City is required to provide updated information regarding this 
designation, on forms prepared by the Arizona Auditor General. 
BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and Council of the City of Buckeye, Arizona, as follows: 
Section 1. 
The recitals above are hereby incorporated as if fully set forth herein. 
Section 2. 
Keith Fallstrom is hereby designated as the City’s Chief Fiscal Officer for the 
purpose of submitting the City’s fiscal year 2026 AELR to the Arizona Auditor General. 
Section 3. 
The Mayor, City Manager, City Attorney, and City Clerk are hereby 
authorized and directed to take all steps necessary to carry out the purpose and intent of this 
Resolution. 
Section 4. 
Additionally, the Chief Fiscal Officer designated in Section 2 of this 
Resolution is hereby authorized and directed to take all steps necessary to carry out the purpose 
and intent of this Resolution. 
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that all resolutions or parts of resolutions in conflict with 
the provisions of this Resolution are hereby repealed.  
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that if any section, subsection, sentence clause, phrase or 
portion of this Resolution is for any reason held to be invalid or unconstitutional by the decision of 
any court of competent jurisdiction, such decision shall not affect the validity of the remaining 
portions thereof.
