ACTION/MOTION: (This language identifies the formal motion to be made by the Council) 
Council to take action on Resolution No. 59-26 designating the Chief Fiscal Officer for officially
submitting the fiscal year 2027 Annual Expenditure Limitation Report to the Arizona Auditor General; and
authorizing the Mayor, City Manager, City Attorney, City Clerk and Chief Financial Officer to take all
steps necessary to carry out the purpose and intent of this Resolution on behalf of the Governing Body.

SUMMARY
PROJECT DESCRIPTION:
By July 31st of each year, the City is required to provide to the Auditor General the name of the Chief
Fiscal Officer (CFO) designated by the Mayor and Council to submit the current fiscal year's AELR.
Additionally, the City is required to notify the Auditor General of any changes of individuals designated to
file the AELR. The designated CFO shall certify as to the accuracy of the AELR. With Council's approval
of Resolution No. 59-26, Keith Fallstrom will be designated as the CFO for fiscal year 2027. 
BENEFITS:
The City will be in compliance with annual reporting of the designation of the CFO to the Auditor General
as required by § 41-1279.07(E).
FUTURE ACTION:
Notice to be filed annually by the City of Buckeye Finance Department.
