RESOLUTION NO. 49-26 
A RESOLUTION OF THE MAYOR AND COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BUCKEYE, 
ARIZONA, APPROVING THE INTERGOVERNMENTAL AGREEMENT (ADOT 
CAR NO.: IGA 26-0011603-I) BETWEEN THE CITY OF BUCKEYE, AN 
ARIZONA MUNICIPAL CORPORATION, AND THE STATE OF ARIZONA 
DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION, FOR THE WIDENING OF MILLER 
ROAD FROM BROADWAY ROAD TO LOWER BUCKEYE ROAD; AND 
AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE AND DELIVER SAID 
AGREEMENT ON BEHALF OF THE CITY OF BUCKEYE. 
WHEREAS, pursuant to A.R.S. §§ 28-401 and 48-572, the City of Buckeye (“City”) and 
State of Arizona Department of Transportation (“ADOT”) are authorized to enter into 
Intergovernmental Agreement IGA 26-0011603-I (“IGA”) for the widening of Miller Road from 
Broadway Road to Lower Buckeye Road (“Project”); and 
WHEREAS, the IGA formalizes participation, roles, responsibilities, and coordination 
mechanisms between the City and ADOT in connection with the Project. 
BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and Council of the City of Buckeye, Arizona, as follows: 
Section 1. 
The recitals above are hereby incorporated as if fully set forth herein. 
Section 2. 
The IGA is hereby approved in the form on file with the City Clerk. 
Section 3. 
The City Manager is hereby authorized to execute and deliver the IGA, and the 
Mayor, City Manager, City Attorney, and City Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to execute all 
documents and take all steps necessary or desirable to carry out the purpose and intent of this 
Resolution. 
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Mayor and Council of the City of Buckeye, Arizona, this 
19th day of May, 2026.
