• BLM finds lands suitable 
for lease

Recreation & Public Purpose Lease
• 25-year lease for 640-acres
• Expands Skyline Regional Park footprint from 
8,675 to 9,315 acres
• No cost to lease lands

Planned Amenities
• Consistent with 2025 Council-approved Parks & 
Recreation Master Plan and implements 
recommendations in the plan
• Preserves an additional 640-acres of open 
space, which was identified as a top priority, 
supported by 87% of residents.
