RESOLUTION NO. 50-26 
 
A RESOLUTION OF THE MAYOR AND COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BUCKEYE, 
ARIZONA, APPROVING RECREATION OR PUBLIC PURPOSES LEASE 
AZAZ105906946 BETWEEN THE CITY OF BUCKEYE AND THE UNITED 
STATES OF AMERICA BUREAU OF LAND MANAGEMENT FOR 640 ACRES 
EAST OF SKYLINE REGIONAL PARK. 
 
WHEREAS, the City of Buckeye (“City”) seeks to enter into Recreation or Public 
Purposes Lease AZAZ105906946 with the United States of America Bureau of Land 
Management (“BLM”) for the lease and use of 640 acres located on the east side of Skyline 
Regional Park; and 
 
WHEREAS, the proposed Lease authorizes the City to construct recreational amenities 
on the parcels, including trail connections to the existing and future Skyline Regional Park trail 
system, trailhead parking, restrooms, shade structures, site furnishings, and access roads. 
 
BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and Council of the City of Buckeye, Arizona, as follows: 
 
Section 1. 
The recitals above are hereby incorporated as if fully set forth herein. 
 
Section 2. 
Recreation or Public Purposes Lease AZAZ105906946 is hereby 
approved in substantially the form and substance on file with the City Clerk and is incorporated 
herein by reference. 
 
Section 3. 
The Mayor is hereby authorized to execute and deliver the Lease and the 
Mayor, City Manager, City Attorney, and City Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to 
execute all documents and other necessary or desirable instruments and to take all steps 
necessary to carry out the purpose and intent of this Resolution. 
 
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Mayor and City Council of the City of Buckeye, Arizona
