Encouraging Community Activation in Downtown
• Launch a pilot program at 6th Street Plaza 
• Goal is to encourage additional activity in the downtown corridor
• Rental fees associated with 6th Street Plaza to be waived
• Guaranteed use will still require reservation
• Special event permit will still apply when appropriate
• Evaluate pilot program outcomes to determine feasibility of 
expanding to other parks
