Council to take action on Delivery Order No. 1 to the Job Order Contract (JOC No. 2025107) between
the City of Buckeye, an Arizona municipal corporation, and MGC Contractors, Inc., an Arizona
corporation; and authorize the City Manager to execute said Delivery Order on behalf of the City of
Buckeye.

SUMMARY
PROJECT DESCRIPTION:
The water pressures within the Bales and Rancho Vista subdivisions, which were previously part of the
Global Water service area, are currently regulated by booster stations.  Staff is requesting approval of
this Job Order Contract (JOC), not to exceed $1,005,427.13, to cause MGC Contractors to procure and
install three pressure reducing valves (PRVs) in strategic locations throughout the subdivisions. The
installation of these PRVs will allow for the decommissioning of the existing booster stations, enhance
the efficiency and reliability of water pressure regulation by integrating the subdivisions into the city's
standard pressure zones, and reduce long-term operating costs as PRVs require less maintenance than
booster stations.  
BENEFITS:
Efficient and effective delivery of water through the city's water distribution system.

FINANCIAL IMPACT STATEMENT:
Funding for this project has been budgeted as part of the FY26 CIP Project #101000, "Pressure
Reducing Valves - Subdivision Program." The contract total is not to exceed $1,005,427.13 and will be
charged as follows:

FY27: $5,427.13
