Council to take action on the Cooperative Contract Purchase Addendum (CCPA) (Contract No.
32600195) between the City of Buckeye, an Arizona municipal corporation, and Hydra Contracting, LLC,
an Arizona limited liability company; and authorize the City Manager to execute said CCPA on behalf of
the City of Buckeye.

SUMMARY
PROJECT DESCRIPTION:
Water Resources staff is requesting this contract with Hydra Contracting, LLC to perform the mandatory
annual maintenance and repairs of fire hydrants in the Festival and Sundance areas. This work, to be
completed in FY26, and are not expected to exceed $150,000. The balance will be applied to future
hydrant maintenance and repairs as needed in FY27. This contract has a total NTE of $450,000 and
expires June 21, 2027. 
BENEFITS:
Ensuring proper functionality of critical fire suppression systems in the City of Buckeye.
FUTURE ACTION:
None.
FINANCIAL IMPACT STATEMENT:
No budget adjustments are necessary for this contract. Funds for the preventative maintenance of fire
hydrants are included in the budget.
Total NTE $450,000.

FY27: $300,000
CURRENT FISCAL YEAR TOTAL COST:
The department will spend up to $150,000 on this contract in FY26, which is included in the budget.
