RESOLUTION NO. 12-26 
 
A RESOLUTION OF THE MAYOR AND COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BUCKEYE, 
ARIZONA, APPROVING THE INTERGOVERNMENTAL AGREEMENT WITH 
THE ARIZONA BOARD OF REGENTS, FOR AND ON BEHALF OF ARIZONA 
STATE UNIVERSITY (“ASU”), FOR ASU TO STUDY THE ECONOMIC IMPACTS 
OF THE 2026 BUCKEYE AIR FAIR; AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER 
TO 
EXECUTE 
AND 
DELIVER 
SAID AGREEMENT AND 
RELATED 
DOCUMENTS ON BEHALF OF THE CITY OF BUCKEYE.  
 
WHEREAS, the City of Buckeye, an Arizona municipal corporation (“City”) and the 
Arizona Board of Regents, for and on behalf of ASU, desire to enter into an intergovernmental 
agreement for a study of the economic impacts of the Buckeye Air Fair and related tasks; and  
 
WHEREAS, the City is authorized to enter into the Intergovernmental Agreement 
pursuant to A.R.S. § 11-952. 
 
BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and Council of the City of Buckeye, Arizona, as follows:  
 
Section 1. 
The recitals above are hereby incorporated as if fully set forth herein.  
 
Section 2. 
The Intergovernmental Agreement with the Arizona Board of Regents for 
and on behalf of Arizona State University, is hereby approved in substantially the form and 
substance on file with the City Clerk and incorporated by reference. 
 
Section 3. 
The City Manager is hereby authorized to execute and deliver the 
Intergovernmental Agreement and related documents, and the Mayor, City Manager, City Clerk, 
and City Attorney are hereby authorized and directed to take all steps necessary to carry out the 
purpose and intent of this Resolution. 
 
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Mayor and City Council of the City of Buckeye, Arizona
