Council to take action on Resolution No. 14-26 designating the Chief Fiscal Officer for officially
submitting the Fiscal Year 2024-2025 Expenditure Limitation Report to the Arizona Auditor General.
SUMMARY
PROJECT DESCRIPTION:
By July 31 each year, the City is required to provide to the Auditor the name of the CFO designated by
the Mayor and Council to submit the current fiscal year's AELR. The City is then required to notify the
Auditor of any changes to those designated individuals. The designated CFO shall certify to the accuracy
of the AELR. With Council's approval of Resolution No. 14-26, Rick Langley will be designated as the
CFO for Fiscal Year 2024-2025, and authorized to carry out all- steps necessary to carry out the purpose
and intent of the Resolution.
BENEFITS:
The City will be in compliance with annual reporting of the designation of CFO to the Auditor General as
required by ARS § 41-1279.07(E).
FUTURE ACTION:
Notice to be filed annually by the City of Buckeye Finance Department.
