Council to take action on the Construction Contract (No. 32600108) between the City of Buckeye, an
Arizona municipal corporation, and K.P. Ventures Well Drilling and Pump Company, LLC, an Arizona
limited liability company, related to well drilling services and materials; and authorize the City Manager to
execute said Contract on behalf of the City of Buckeye.
SUMMARY
PROJECT DESCRIPTION:
Contract # 32600108 with K.P. Ventures is for drilling services for Well #8 serving Jackie Meck Water
Campus (CIP No. 100750) in an amount not to exceed $1,773,678.66. The well is located within the
Ventana Ranch community, also known as Ventana Ranch Well #2, and will deliver raw groundwater to
the Water Campus for treatment and distribution to customers. An Invitation for Bid (IFB) was solicited in
November and resulted in five bidders responding on December 9, 2025. K.P. Ventures was deemed the
lowest, responsive, and responsible bidder.
BENEFITS:
Continuing to ensure reliable water service by maintaining of an adequate supply of raw water in the
City's water systems.

The not-to-exceed amount for Contract No. 32600108 is $1,773,678.66.
