Council to take action on Delivery Order No. 7 to Contract No. 2025084 Downtown Buckeye ADA
(American Disabilities Act) Curb Ramp and Various Concrete Asset Repairs between the City of
Buckeye, an Arizona municipal corporation, and Talis Corporation, a state of Arizona Limited Liability
Company, to make various repairs to concrete assets and reconstructing existing various ADA
(American Disabilities Act) curb ramps from, 1st Street to 9th Street & from South of Monroe Avenue to
North of Beloat Road; and authorize the City Manager to execute said Delivery Order on behalf of the
City of Buckeye.
SUMMARY
PROJECT DESCRIPTION:
As the evaluated concrete assets age, weather and traffic elements have caused concrete deterioration
and degradation. Various full concrete asset repairs are required. The Public Works Streets Department
has recommended that the identified various damaged concrete asset locations be repaired by removing
the damaged concrete, then replacing it with new concrete assets. Various ADA (American Disabilities
Act) Curb Ramp Retro fits will be addressed as a part of this contract.
BENEFITS:
This concrete asset maintenance project addresses tripping hazards and degraded concrete assets. This
project will significantly reduce the risk to walking pedestrians and public by addressing the degradation
and displacement of existing concrete assets. In addition to improving safety, this project will enhance
the overall quality of the travel experience, and the various concrete asset restoration will reduce
maintenance costs for the city.

Funding for this project is included in the Pavement Maintenance funds.
The cost of this project is $630,329.38.
