Arizona State Library, Archives & Public Records – State Grants-in-Aid Award Summary Recap 
Project Description:   
 The City of Buckeye has applied for and received an award for funding through the Arizona State 
Library, Archives & Public Records – State Grants-in-Aid program in the amount of $4,754. The total 
project cost is estimated at $9,508, with the City contributing a required $4,754 match. These funds will 
be used to enhance library services by supporting the Brainfuse database.

Plans Once Grant Expires:  
  Any additional expenditure will come from the Library’s General Fund unless future grant 
opportunities arise, which the Grants Team will pursue. 
 
Objectives and Expected Outcomes  
 The objective of supporting the Brainfuse database is to provide the Buckeye community with 
equitable access to high-quality educational and career resources. Through services such as live 
tutoring for K-12 and college students, adult learning programs including GED preparation and 
citizenship support, and career services like resume assistance and interview coaching, residents are 
equipped with tools to achieve academic success and strengthen workforce readiness. The expected 
outcome is a more empowered community where individuals of all ages have opportunities to 
advance their education, prepare for career growth, and engage in lifelong learning.
