Council to take action on the Cooperative Contract Purchase Addendum (CCPA) (Contract No.
32500100) between the City of Buckeye, an Arizona municipal corporation and K.P. Ventures Well
Drilling & Pump Company, LLC, an Arizona limited liability company; and authorize the City Manager to
execute and deliver said CCPA on behalf of the City of Buckeye.
SUMMARY
PROJECT DESCRIPTION:
Water Resources is requesting Council approval of this CCPA with K.P. Ventures Well Drilling & Pump
Company (KP Ventures) for the department's annual and mandatory well rehabilitations as well as
emergency repairs should they occur during the year. This CCPA uses KP Ventures' existing contract
with the City of Phoenix and has an NTE of $1,000,000 for FY26. 
Every year, the Water Resources Department's Water Production and Treatment Business Unit
administers well rehabilitations based on the department's well rehab tracker to ensure all wells are
inspected and rehabilitated on time. This practice promotes efficient and reliable well operations and
functionality. Additionally, the department can face unplanned emergency breakdowns of wells in the
system. These emergencies must be responded to and remedied immediately and without delay.
Approval of this contract will allow the department to complete the scheduled rehabilitations and to
respond to potential emergencies.
