2025 Citizen Water and Wastewater Rate Committee to take action on the Water Resources
Department's recommendation for Public Outreach Meetings. 
SUMMARY
PROJECT DESCRIPTION:
On July 31, 2025, the Water Resources Department (WRD) presented its Public Outreach Plan (Plan) to
the 2025 Citizen Water and Wastewater Rate Committee (WRC). WRD staff is now requesting approval
of the Plan. The complete Plan includes (1) Three meetings: one meeting each in the Festival,
Sundance, and Central Buckeye areas; (2) A meeting length of two hours; (3) A presentation delivered
by WRD staff at each meeting; (4) The presence of available WRC Members at each meeting; and, (5) a
Q & A session at each meeting for attending residents to ask questions and share their thoughts.
BENEFITS:
Providing opportunity for Buckeye Water customers to learn about their Water and Wastewater Utilities,
and to give staff and the Committee feedback on the proposed Water and Wastewater rate changes.
