(REV. 12.9.2024) CONSTRUCTION CONTRACT BETWEEN THE CITY OF BUCKEYE AND GRANITE CONSTRUCTION COMPANY CONTRACT NO. 2025273 CHANGE ORDER #2 THIS CHANGE ORDER #2 (this “Change Order”) is entered into as of , between the City of Buckeye, an Arizona municipal corporation (the “City”) and Granite Construction Company, a California corporation (the “Contractor”). This Change Order modifies certain sections of Contract No. 2025273 (the “Contract”), with those sections not expressly modified remaining in full effect pursuant to their terms. CONTRACT CHANGES: 1. Section 3 Contract Price is amended by increasing the not-to-exceed amount by $101,041.07 from $657,729.00 to $758,770.07. 2. Exhibit B – Contractor Proposal, is amended by incorporating the revisions to the Work as set forth in Exhibit 1 to Change Order #2 RECITALS: The City and Contractor entered into Contract No. 2025273 dated March 4, 2025. Pursuant to which Contractor was to provide construction services to complete the BXK Taxiway H & Hangar Taxi lanes Rehabilitation project with Substantial Completion achieved within Fifty- One (51) calendar days from the effective date of the Notice to Proceed and a not-to-exceed amount of $650,154.00. Thereafter, Change Order #1 to change the not-to-exceed amount by $7,575.00_from $650,154.00 to $657,729.00. was entered into as of April 23,2025. ADDITIONAL PROVISIONS: Except as amended herein, all provisions of the Contract remain in full force and effect. In the event of any conflict or discrepancy between the terms of this Change Order, the Contract, and any other contract documents, the documents shall govern in that order. Lowe, PE, CEM, PWLF Airport Assets Director RE: Proposal for Non-Precision Approaches Marking and Lighting Modifications Granite Construction Company respectfully submits the below pricing for the requested additional striping and electrical work included in in the drawings and specifications -35 Non-Precision Approaches Marking and Lighting Modifications. Work includes: Notes: 1. No additional mobilization for stripers included. Will be added if required. 2. No utility location anticipated or included. 3. No Granite sweeping prior to seal coating in striping obliteration area. Assume striper will leave clean enough for seal coat. 4. Dump site for waterblasting (striping obliteration) will be provided on-site by owner. 5. Sweeping of blast pad prior to seal coat included if this option is selected. 6. No additional mobilization for crack seal blast pad included. Assumed to happen concurrent with run-up area crack seal work. Will be added if needed. 7. Granite includes 6 hours (2 daysx3 hrs/day) of fuel truck service to fuel any Granite equipment and runway x s. 8. No power broom support or final cleanup crew included. Assuming when work is complete, it will be acceptable. 9. The price included in item 400 includes 750 gallons of seal coat material. The stripe obliteration area is only estimated to need 250 gallons, however a minimum of 600 gallons must be loaded into the truck to allow proper heating and circulation and the material comes in 250 gallon totes. The remaining 500 gallons could be applied elsewhere on the airport at no additional cost as long as the work takes place at the same time as the seal coating of the obliterated markings. May 8, 2025 2 | P a g e 10. New threshold light installation does not include any excavation beyond that needed to install the new light can. If trenching/patching is required to tie into conduit, it will be tracked for separate payment. 11. Blast pad crack seal/seal coat work would cost $28,000 if added to the scope based on 2100 lf of crack seal and 3294 sy of seal coat, assuming the seal coat material was previously purchased per item 1.
