ACTION/MOTION: (This language identifies the formal motion to be made by the Council) 
Council to take on Change Order No. 1 to the On-Call Consulting for Engineering and Architectural
Services Contract (No. 2022003A.48) between the City of Buckeye, an Arizona municipal corporation,
and Shums Coda Associates, Inc., a California corporation, related to building plan review services for
Fiscal Year 2024-2025; and authorizing the City Manager to execute and deliver said Change Order on
behalf of the City of Buckeye.
SUMMARY
PROJECT DESCRIPTION:
The Development Services Department is requesting approval of Change Order No. 1 to increase the do
not exceed amount by $100,000 from $200,000 to $300,000 and to ratify ongoing work through the end
of the task orders term to end on June 30, 2025 for FY25 Building Plan Review services. Shums Coda
provided assistance with Building Plan Review for Fiscal Year 2024-2025. The total amount already paid
under this task order does not exceed $200,000.00.
