ACTION/MOTION: (This language identifies the formal motion to be made by the Council) 
Council to take action on the Professional Services Agreement (PSA) (Contract No. 32500036) between
the City of Buckeye, and Arizona municipal corporation, and Dibble and Associates Consulting
Engineers, Inc., an Arizona corporation, related to the design and civil engineering services for Capital
Improvement Program (CIP) Project No. 108860 – South Watson Road - Elwood Street through
Bentridge; and authorize the City Manager to execute and deliver said Agreement on behalf of the City of
Buckeye.
SUMMARY
PROJECT DESCRIPTION:
The South Watson Road – Elwood Street through Bentridge project aims to advance the design and
engineering for the widening of Watson Road, which currently exists as a two-lane roadway with interim
improvements adjacent to the Bentridge Development. The proposed design will widen the corridor to
three lanes in each direction, progressing toward the ultimate roadway cross section as feasible based
on right-of-way availability and existing constraints. These improvements will enhance traffic capacity
and align with the City’s Roadway Master Plan. The project scope includes the expansion of the existing
Buckeye Irrigation District (RID) bridge, full roadway widening, drainage improvements, and the
annexation and acquisition of right-of-way necessary to support the proposed improvements.
Civil engineering and design services are necessary for this project. PSA (Contract No.32500036) will
allow Dibble & Associates Consulting Engineers, Inc. to provide the associated services upon the
issuance of a Notice to Proceed unless otherwise terminated in accordance with the terms of the
Contract. The total amount to be paid under this Professional Services Agreement shall not exceed
$660,915.00.
BENEFITS:
This PSA will allow Dibble & Associates Consulting Engineers Inc., the necessary approval to begin civil
engineering and design services aligning with the timeline of this project.
FUTURE ACTION:
Completion of delivery for the civil engineering and design services will assist in the overall construction
for this Project. 
FINANCIAL IMPACT STATEMENT:
The Project is programmed in the CIP in Fiscal Year (FY) 26. The total cost of this Professional Services
Agreement shall not exceed $660,915.00.
