Council to take action to approve and ratify the Lease Agreement in substantially similar form, by and
between Arizona Public Service Company (APS) and the City of Buckeye, an Arizona municipal
corporation.
SUMMARY
PROJECT DESCRIPTION:
The City of Buckeye wishes to enter a lease agreement with Arizona Public Service Company (APS) for
property owned by APS. The "leased premises" as referenced in Exhibit B of the proposed lease
agreement will include a main building including offices and warehouse space, and trailer building. The
"leased premises" will exclude an ancillary yard as referenced in Exhibit B of the proposed lease
agreement. The described use of premises as referenced in the lease will include those for office uses,
warehousing, material storage, and delivery and distribution of goods and materials to the community in
association with a non-profit organization. The initial term of the agreement is for 60 months from June 1,
2025, through May 31, 2030. This council action will ratify the lease between APS and the City of
Buckeye in substantially similar form as the lease on file with the City Clerk's Office. 
BENEFITS:
The proposed use of premises described in the lease between APS and the City of Buckeye is for use by
a non-profit organization which will benefit community members, the public, and City of Buckeye
residents.
