Communication: maintains website, social media, and newsletters • Web traffic – FY25: 1.9 Million Views (thru May) • 2,800+ followers on Facebook; 1,356 followers on Instagram • Bi-Monthly Chamber Newsletter to City Council Candidate Forums: for all districts with multiple candidates with one general Forum for the Mayor, City Council and AZ Legislative Districts for the General election. • FY25: 3 Forums, Average Attendance: 45 people Public Policy: lobbying for and against legislation that effects our businesses and city. • FY25: Signed 41 bills this legislative session – Supported 30, Opposed 11 • 14 Water Bills supported, Support of HB2192 • FY24: Eight opportunities focused on transportation, education, business initiatives, etc. • Continues to work with City to support and oppose legislation that stays in line with the City Grants: providing letter of support for grant applications • FY25: 30 Letters of Support for City road improvement grant applications • FY24: 3 Letters of Support for City road improvement grant applications FY25 DELIVERABLES CONT. Tourism: Support tourism and attraction through partnership opportunities with the city and local partners • The Chamber supports all events in Buckeye and serves on the Mayor’s Dove Hunting Committee Visitor Center: Staff and maintain the visitor center with information from throughout the state. • The Chamber building is used continually for various community and member entities. They include: Board meetings for several irrigation districts, HOA meetings, local business interviews and job events, special employee meetings for larger companies, WOW Coalition meetings, and AA meetings. • When visitors walk through the door they have immediate access to the Chamber’s business card wall and statewide visitor resource center that includes state maps and visitor guides along with Buckeye information. FY25 EVENTS Taste of Buckeye Golf Tournament: Held at Sundance Golf Club • FY25: 18 Restaurants, 18 Business Booths, 144 Golfers, $1,000 donated to All Faith Food Bank • FY24: 16 Restaurants, 18 Business Booths, 120 Golfers, $1,500 donated to All Faith Food Bank Buckeye Rocks: Celebrates the great things that have happened in Buckeye, featuring Schools, City, Nonprofits, and Business Awards • FY25: 311 attendees, 26 awards, 6 sponsors • FY24: 300 attendees, 34 awards, and 15 sponsors Swing and Sweat Golf Tournament: • FY25: SOLD OUT EVENT! 128 Golfers. Taking place on June 7TH – New Location: Victory Golf Course • FY24: 120 golfers, FY23: 128 golfers, FY22: 60 golfers Sangria & Shopping: Held at 6th Street Plaza • FY 25: 700 attendees, FY24: 1,200 attendees, FY23: 1,500-2,000 attendees Biz2Biz Trade Show: Attend and exhibit at the West Valley Chamber of Commerce Alliance event • FY25: 96 booths with 2,000 attendees; FY24: 130 booths with 2,500 attendees FY25 NEW PROGRAMS NEW! Buckeye Food Festival: Inaugural Festival held in March 2025 • Over 200 attendees • 15 Food Trucks, 6 Restaurant Vendors, 10 Business Vendors NEW! Buckeye Biz Buzz Podcast: • Monthly podcast featuring a local business • Streamed on the Buckeye Biz YouTube Channel • 2 Podcasts released (as of May 2025) NEW! Buckeye Hispanic Chamber: • First meeting held on May 15th at 8:30 AM • Over 25 attendees at first meeting!
