ACTION/MOTION: (This language identifies the formal motion to be made by the Council) 
Council to take action on Resolution No. 22-25 designating the Chief Fiscal Officer for officially
submitting the Fiscal Year 2025-2026 Annual Expenditure Limitation Report to the Arizona Auditor
General; and authorizing the Mayor, City Manager, Chief Fiscal Officer, City Clerk and City Attorney to
take all steps necessary to carry out the purpose and intent of this Resolution on behalf of the Governing
Body.
SUMMARY
PROJECT DESCRIPTION:
The governing body of each political subdivision is required to provide to the Auditor General the name
of the Chief Fiscal Officer (CFO) designated by the governing body to submit the current fiscal year's
expenditure limitation report. The political subdivision is then required to notify the Auditor General of any
changes to those designated individuals. The designated CFO shall certify to the accuracy of the Annual
Expenditure Limitation Report. Council to approve the designation and notification to the Auditor
General, William Kauppi, as Chief Fiscal Officer for the City of Buckeye in the Fiscal Year 2025-2026.
BENEFITS:
The City shall be in compliance with annual reporting of the designation of CFO to the Auditor General
as required by Arizona Revised Statutes 41-1279.07.E.

Notice to be filed annually by the City of Buckeye Finance Department.
