RE: Hearing for Proposed Sherwood Mesa Irrigation Water Delivery District on March 1
To Whom it May Concern:

I am writing to express my unequivocal support for the proposed water delivery district in
Sherwood Mesa. As an original homeowner, since 1956, I have seen the undesirable
consequences of an aging system with no formal mechanism of maintenance. Through the
decades, individual neighbors have taken upon themselves the burden of ensuring a functional
system. Unfortunately, this has resulted in a patchwork approach of responding to emergencies
without possibility of effective preventive maintenance. I recall multiple leaks, and multiple
interruptions in service throughout the years due to an aging system.

Although I typically do not support tax increases, I firmly believe that the benefits in this
circumstance are well worth the proposed additional tax liability.

I appreciate the opportunity to express my support in writing as I am physically unable to attend
this hearing in person.
