Collaborations with Community Partners and Education Service Providers 
On November 24, the Early Head Start Program Assistants participated in a CLASS 
feedback session with two Deer Valley EHS teachers. The teachers demonstrated strong 
skills in Emotional and Behavioral Support, with a score of 6.80, and in Engaged Support 
for Learning, scoring 6.00 on a seven-point scale. The teachers highlighted their strengths 
in managing transitions and routines.  
 
Develop and Maintain a Qualified Workforce 
During the week of November 24, a KinderCare Early Head Start teacher completed her 
Child Development Associate (CDA) credential, supported by ongoing coaching and 
goal setting from the Grantee Coach and Professional Development Specialist. Her 
commitment helps sustain a qualified workforce providing high-quality services.
