RESOLUTION NO. 12550 
 
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF 
MESA, MARICOPA COUNTY, ARIZONA, AUTHORIZING 
THE CITY MANAGER OR HIS DESIGNEE TO ENTER INTO 
AN 
INTERGOVERNMENTAL 
AGREEMENT 
WITH 
A 
MEMORANDUM 
OF 
UNDERSTANDING 
WITH 
THE 
FEDERAL BUREAU OF INVESTIGATION TO PARTICIPATE 
IN THE PHOENIX SAFE STREETS TASK FORCE.  
 
 
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MESA, 
MARICOPA COUNTY, ARIZONA, AS FOLLOWS: 
 
Section 1:  Approving and authorizing the City Manager, or his designee, to enter 
into a Memorandum of Understanding with the Federal Bureau of Investigation to 
participate in the Phoenix Safe Streets Task Force.  
 
Section 2:  That the City Manager or designee is authorized and directed to 
execute the Memorandum of Understanding, and any related amendments or supplements 
thereto on behalf of the City of Mesa, and the City Clerk is authorized and directed to 
attest to the signature of the City Manager or authorized designee thereon. 
 
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Mesa, Maricopa 
County, Arizona, this 20th day of July, 2026.
