Continuance of the Public Hearing for Case  
 
P-26-4-PZ “Banyan Apartments” to September 15, 
2026. 
 
Representing their client, Banyan Residential, LLC, Snell & 
Wilmer LLP requested to continue the scheduled public meetings 
for Case P-26-4-PZ to later dates in August, however with the 
scheduling conflicts of the cancellation of the August 17th 
and 18th Council meetings, staff have coordinated with the 
applicant to move the proposed schedule to the next available 
set of meetings, as identified below.  
 
This continuance was requested to provide time to implement 
design changes to address the concerns noted at the June 23, 
2026 Planning and Zoning Commission hearing regarding parking 
and to provide additional public outreach.  
 
Staff respectfully requests that the public meetings be 
continued to: 
 
 
City Council Work Session - Monday, August 31, 2026 
 
 
City Council Public Hearing - Tuesday, September 15, 2026
