Dear Honorable Mayor Wilson and Members of the City Council: 
On behalf of Banyan Residential, LLC ("Banyan"), the developer of the property located at 
the southeast corner of North Rennick Drive and West Virginia Avenue in the City of Apache 
Junction, Arizona, we respectfully request a continuance of the July 6, 2026 City Council Work 
Session and the July 21, 2026 City Council public hearing on the Application. 
The Application was ﬁrst heard by the Planning and Zoning Commission on June 23, 2026, 
and is currently scheduled for the City Council Work Session on July 6, 2026, and the City Council 
public hearing on July 21, 2026. The requested continuance will provide us more time to revise 
the proposed site plan to incorporate additional parking in response to planning staﬀ's 
comments, and to continue our ongoing outreach to the surrounding neighborhood. 
Accordingly, Banyan respectfully requests that the Work Session be continued to August 
3, 2026, and the public hearing to August 18, 2026.
