2026 FEE STUDY BACKGROUND
Arizona State Statute requires review of city fees every 5 years.

Mar. 4, 2026 - Parks and Rec Commission Presentation of market study 
April 1, 2026- Parks and Rec Commission Presentation of market study results
April 7, 2026- City Council Presentation/Discussion
May 6, 2026- Parks and Rec Commission presentation on recommended fees
June 3,2026- Parks and Rec Commission approved recommendations of fee changes

Facility Entry Fees/Passes Recommendation
Increased MGC memberships 10% (daily passes remained 
the same).
No change to Aquatics fees, as they were increased last 
study.
Rec Program/Activity Fees Recommendation
No changes to Recreation program/activity ranges.
o Ranges still meet the needs of activities and programs.

Next Steps 
1. Questions/Discussion; Changes if necessary 
2. Post fees and a fee report for the mandatory 60 day 
waiting period prior to a public hearing 
3. Council will hold a public hearing and vote on the 
changes
