AMENDMENT 
to 
COLLECTION AGREEMENT BETWEEN 
MARICOPA COUNTY SHERIFF'S OFFICE (C-50-22-127-X-01) 
AND 
THE ARIZONA GAME AND FISH DEPARTMENT 
The purpose of this Amendment is to modify and extend the end date of the Collection Agreement 
between the Maricopa County Sheriff's Office and the Arizona Game and Fish Department, 
executed originally on March 23, 2022, from June 30, 2023 to June 30, 2024. 
WHEREAS, the Commission, through the Department, has statewide responsibility for 
administering the watercraft law enforcement and recreational boating safety programs on the state 
level and to make agreements with other entities for recreational boating safety and related law 
enforcement; 
WHEREAS, the Maricopa County Sheriff's Office, entered into a Collection Agreement, dated 
March 23, 2022, for the Maricopa County Sheriff's Office is charged with enforcing watercraft 
Laws and Regulations under A.R.S. §5-391, §11-441, §11-951, §11-952, and is dedicated to 
educating the boating public and preventing accidents, injuries, and deaths on the Arizona 
waterways; 
WHEREAS, the Parties desire to provide effective and adequate enforcement of laws relating to 
recreational boating safety on Arizona's waterways; 
THEREFORE, The Parties agree to modify Section 7 to extend the termination date of the 
agreement with no change to the amounts allocated in the original agreement; 
The Agreement is hereby modified as follows: 
SECTION 7- Effective Date and Duration 
This agreement shall become effective upon the date of the last signature and shall remain in 
effect until June 30, 2024. Nothing herein shall be construed as limiting the responsibility and 
authority, as defined by law, of Maricopa County Sheriff's Office or the respective County Board 
of Supervisors designated in connection with the administration and enforcement of our state 
waterways. 
Except as provided herein, all other Terms and Conditions of original Agreement will remain in full 
force and effect.
