RESOLUTION NO. 2521 
 
A RESOLUTION OF THE MAYOR AND COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF 
TOLLESON, ARIZONA, APPROVING THE INTERGOVERNMENTAL 
AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY OF TOLLESON AND  MARICOPA 
COUNTY, DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC HEALTH, RELATING TO 
IMMUNIZATION SERVICES. 
WHEREAS, during an identified outbreak of a vaccine preventable disease, Maricopa 
County Department of Public Health (“MCDPH”) may request the assistance of community 
vaccine providers to provide immunizations to communities and populations in response; and 
WHEREAS, MCDPH is partnering with the City of Tolleson (“City”) to provide 
vaccines to the residents of the County in order to increase access to vaccines in response to an 
outbreak/pandemic thereby decreasing the overall spread of the identified disease. 
 
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND COUNCIL OF 
THE CITY OF TOLLESON, ARIZONA, as follows: 
 
Section 1. The recitals above are hereby incorporated as if fully set forth herein. 
 
Section 2. The term of this Intergovernmental Agreement (“Agreement”) shall be from 
April 1, 2023 until April 1, 2026. The City will only be reimbursed the administration fee for 
MCDPH provided vaccine.  
 
Section 3.  The Agreement between the City and MCDPH relating to immunization 
services is hereby approved substantially in the form attached hereto as Exhibit A and incorporated 
herein by reference. 
 
Section 4.  The Mayor, City Manager, City Clerk and City Attorney are hereby authorized 
and directed to take all steps necessary to cause the execution and delivery of this Agreement and 
to take all steps necessary to carry out the purpose and intent of this Resolution. 
 
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Mayor and Council of the City of Tolleson, Arizona,
