I'm a Chandler High School graduate and served as president of the choir club. My life has revolved
around Chandler. I currently work at the San Marcos Crowne Plaza and want to give back to my
community in anyway possible.

I believe that I have so much that I can give back to the community. I have always been passionate
about the arts and the history of Chandler. I believe that makes me the perfect person to work in

Professional Experience
IT executive with more than 30 years of experience in information technology, program and project
management, business strategy, and solutions management. Throughout my career, I have led
complex initiatives and cross-functional teams, bringing strong leadership, organizational,
problem-solving, and execution skills. I am solutions-driven and experienced in turning strategic
goals into practical, measurable results.
Board/Committee Experience
Throughout my 30 years as a Chandler resident, I've been engaged in our community, beginning as
a founding board member of the Chandler-Gilbert YMCA in the late 1990s and later serving
extensively in PTOs, booster clubs, Art Masterpiece, and Junior Achievement while raising my four
children. I currently serve by appointment of the Maricopa County Board of Supervisors on the
Community Development Advisory Committee for Maricopa County, and recently completed an
appointment by Chandler Mayor Kevin Hartke to the General Plan Resident Advisory Committee,
helping shape Chandlers General Plan and the communitys vision for the next decade. My service
reflects a longstanding commitment to giving back and helping Chandler remain a strong, vibrant
community.
Briefly explain why you would like to serve on the board / commission
I've always believed in being involved in the community. Now that my four children are grown, I am
at a point in my life I can give more of my time, professional experience, and energy to serving. I
genuinely enjoy being involved, working with people, listening to different perspectives, and
finding solutions that benefit the broader community. I want to continue contributing to Chandler's
future and help ensure that it remains one of the most desirable places to live, work, raise a family,
and build a business. Serving on a City board or commission would allow me to combine my
professional leadership and problem-solving experience with my longstanding commitment to
Chandler. I would be honored to contribute wherever my experience and skills can be most
beneficial to the City and its residents.

I am a small business owner with a background in administration, customer service, and operations.
I have managed every aspect of running a company's finances and record-keeping, vendor and
customer relations, and daily operations independently and with full accountability. Earlier in my
career I worked as an administrative assistant as well as an auto insurance counselor, roles built on
clear communication, organization, and serving the public directly. Over the past nine months I
have also been an active, engaged participant in local civic and government affairs, deepening my
understanding of how our community works and building relationships across it.
Board/Committee Experience
While I have not yet served on a formal city board or commission, I bring directly relevant
experience. As a business owner, I've been responsible for setting priorities, weighing competing
interests, and making sound, accountable decisions on behalf of an organization. I am an engaged
observer of local government and a consistent participant in community meetings, and last year I
stepped forward as a candidate for Chandler City Council, an experience that gave me real insight
into the civic process and deepened my commitment to public service. I'm eager to put that
engagement to work in a formal service role.
Briefly explain why you would like to serve on the board / commission
I want to serve because I love this community and believe in giving back through honest, fair and
dependable service. Some causes are especially close to my heart above all, honoring our veterans.
But in any role, I bring fairness, a genuine willingness to listen, and a commitment to weighing each
matter on its own merits. I would love the chance to contribute where I can do the most good for
Chandler.
