SUMMARY
PROJECT DESCRIPTION:
The National Community Survey reports on the "livability" of Buckeye. The report provides
opinions from a sample of Buckeye residents collected from January 20 to March 17, 2026,
with a 4 percent margin of error. Residents were randomly selected from a list of all
households within the Buckeye municipal boundary. Selected households first received a
postcard inviting them to participate in the survey. This was followed up by a letter with
instructions, the survey questionnaire and a postage-paid return envelope. All mailing included
a web link to respond online. Survey results indicated safety and the economy are important
areas for the city to focus their efforts. Results also identified areas of potential opportunity.
BENEFITS:
The goal of the survey is to report on the “livability” of Buckeye. The city has areas for
improvement in transportation, education and retail development but also has high remarks for
government and economic stability. The survey results indicate safety and the economy are
important areas for the city to continue focusing on in the next few years.
