PROJECT NARRATIVE
AUTOMOTIVE DETAILING BUILDING
Zamora Automotive proposes to construct a new Automotive Detailing Building at the Superstition
Springs Auto Park in Mesa, Arizona. The project will be located on East Auto Park Drive, north of
the existing Toyota dealership and west of the existing Honda dealership.
The facility will consist of a single one-story detailing building. Automotive detailing will consist of
window tinting, pin striping and similar operations. The facility shall provide support to the adjacent
existing Honda dealership – owned and operated by Zamora Automotive. There will be no public
access to the building. Visitors to the building are not anticipated.
One new driveway is proposed from Auto Park Drive that will align with an existing driveway on the
north side of Auto Park Drive. Cross access to the existing back lot area of Honda is proposed at
the southeast corner of the new site via the removal of a section of existing cmu site wall at the
common property line. Sales vehicle inventory display for the Honda dealership will be provided
on the site. Site lighting and photometrics will be consistent with the Superstition Springs Auto
Park Development Guidelines.
The existing landscaping along Auto Park Drive will be preserved, and additional landscape
material will be added as dictated per the Superstition Springs Auto Park Development Guidelines.
The building features a medley of integral colored cmu and complimentary EIFS. A 10-foot-tall
decorative wall and adjacent landscaped area with mature planting is proposed north of the
building to screen the 10-foot-tall doors on the north side of the building
There will be no outdoor speakers on this property.
