Background / Discussion This contract will provide services to replace LED (light-emitting diode) traffic signal indications throughout the City. LED indications (red, yellow, and green lights and arrows) are routinely replaced as they approach the end of their expected service life to help maintain the reliable operation and visibility of traffic signals. Timely replacement of aging indications helps reduce the potential for unexpected failures, supports consistent signal performance, and ensures traffic signals remain clearly visible to motorists, pedestrians, and other roadway users. These services support the continued safe and efficient operation of the City’s 522 traffic signals.
