A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MESA,
ARIZONA, APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO
ENTER INTO AN INTERGOVERNMENTAL AGREEMENT WITH THE
FLOOD CONTROL DISTRICT OF MARICOPA COUNTY FOR THE
CONSTRUCTION, CONSTRUCTION MANAGEMENT, OPERATION, AND
MAINTENANCE OF BASINS AND STORM DRAIN IMPROVEMENTS ON
OR NEAR PECOS ROAD, EAST OF ELLSWORTH ROAD AND WEST OF
MERIDIAN ROAD.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MESA:
Section 1. The City Council approves the Intergovernmental Agreement between the City of
Mesa and the Flood Control District of Maricopa County for the Construction, Construction
Management, Operation & Maintenance of the Pecos Road Basins and Storm Drain
Improvements, IGA FCD 2025A005, regarding basins and storm drain improvements on or near
Pecos Road, east of Ellsworth Road and West of Meridian Road (the “IGA”). The City Manager
or his designee is authorized, on behalf of the City of Mesa, to execute the IGA and any
amendments and modifications to the IGA as necessary to carry out the intent of the IGA and that
do not materially alter the terms or structure of the IGA as it was presented to the City Council.
Section 2. The City Clerk is authorized and directed to attest to the signature of the City
Manager or his designee on all documents referenced in Section 1, including the IGA.
