To Mesa Planning and Zoning Board Members,
As a Mesa resident and active, informed voter I wanted to express my support for the Ellsworth Energy
Center.
Between the planned 350 MW capacity and the tax revenue this seems like a win for Mesa. As
geopolitical events create volatility in fuel prices, installing more renewable energy will result in cheaper
and more stable energy costs in our county. Homegrown power will provide increased energy
independence and security.
My household hopes to see more solar projects and more renewables, especially as our state continues
to see more data and large scale manufacturing.
Thank you for your continued service.
