Due to a reduction in funds from the CDC, your general immunization allocation will be slightly less than last year's amount and will be $1,232,438. Your Pan Flu funding remains the same at $120,946 for a total of $1,353,384. The additional COVID-19 funds available to you should help with the funding shortage. All general immunization and Pan Flu funding is to be used by June 30, 2022 and activities will be reported on the CERs as normally done. Updated CER templates will be sent to immunization coordinators/finance staff in an email in early July. Please make sure the template is shared with those who create the CERs or are part of the financial process. • The Purchase Orders (POs) are being requested and when completed, will be found in the Arizona Procurement Portal (APP). If you have any new personnel or need to correct current information, please update contact information in APP so information can be accessed. Please share this information with your finance and grant account personnel. If you need assistance with APP, please contact their support desk: https://spo.az.gov/app/supplier/support. • As in past years, both the general immunization and Pan Flu funding will be on the same PO, however billing for Pan Flu funds should still be submitted on a separate CER with supporting documentation, and should contain the current contract number and PO# for the award. All CERs should be using the new Procurement CER Naming Convention, already shared with Immunization Coordinators. • All COVID-19 funding is separate from this general/Pan Flu funding and COVID-19 related funds may be used through Jun 30, 2024. Amendments are (generally) in place for the SAIF (Supplemental Adult Influenza Funding), IDEAS (Increased Data Entry and Additional Storage) funding, VIP (Vaccination Implementation and Planning) funding, and SUP (Supplemental for increased vaccination throughput and efforts) funding. An additional amendment for EQUITY funding is being worked on currently and should be coming to those counties who elected to receive the funding. CER templates for each category have been provided and should be used when submitting for reimbursement for COVID-19 funds. C-86-18-018-3-12 If you have any questions about your immunization funding, you can contact me (through Aug 20), our financial manager Laura Saenz-Serna, or our Office Chief, Dana Goodloe.
