Jefferson, 10th Floor Phoenix, AZ 85003, with the following members present: Jack Sellers, Chairman, District 1; Bill Gates, Vice Chairman, District 3 (remote); Steve Chucri, Supervisor, District 2 (remote); Clint Hickman, Supervisor, District 4 (remote); Steve Gallardo, Supervisor, District 5 (remote). Also present: Juanita Garza, Clerk (remote); Kelly Gardiner, Minutes Coordinator; Andrea Cummings, Legal Counsel (remote); Joy Rich, County Manager (remote). 1. EXECUTIVE SESSION Vote to convene in Executive Session to consider the items on the Executive Agenda dated Friday, February 26, 2021, for Board of Supervisors and relevant Special Districts pursuant to the statutory authority listed for each item. Pursuant to A.R.S. § 38-431.02(D), notice is hereby given that an emergency session of the Maricopa County Board of Supervisors was held February 26, 2021 at approximately 12:15 pm at 301 W. Jefferson - 10th floor, Phoenix, AZ, 85003. The meeting was held with members attending either telephonically or in person. Andrea Cummings stated that the Emergency was due to the need to get Legal advice, with the Treasurer and Recorder, regarding the recent court ruling in CV 2020-16840 (Maricopa County v Karen Fann, et. al.).
