Jefferson, 10th Floor, Phoenix, AZ 85003, with the following members present: Jack Sellers, Chairman, District 1; Bill Gates, Vice-Chairman, District 3; Steve Chucri, Supervisor, District 2, (remote); Clint Hickman, Supervisor, District 4 (remote); Steve Gallardo, Supervisor, District 5 (remote). Also present were: Juanita Garza, Clerk of the Board; Joy Rich, County Manager (remote); Andrea Cummings, Legal Counsel (remote); Lori Medaris, Minutes Coordinator. EXECUTIVE SESSION Vote to convene in Executive Session to consider the items on the Executive Agenda dated Thursday, February 11, 2021, for Board of Supervisors and relevant Special Districts pursuant to the statutory authority listed for each item. Pursuant to A.R.S. § 38-431.02(D), notice is hereby given that an emergency session of the Maricopa County Board of Supervisors was held on February 11, 2021 at approximately 10:30 am at 301 W. Jefferson – 10th floor, Phoenix, AZ, 85003. Andrea Cummings stated that the Emergency was due to the need for the Board to receive legal advice, with the Treasurer and Recorder, regarding recent and ongoing events in the Legislature related to Elections and potential legal ramifications. Motion to approve by Supervisor Bill Gates, seconded by Supervisor Steve Gallardo Ayes: Jack Sellers, Steve Chucri, Bill Gates, Clint Hickman, Steve Gallardo.
