Jefferson, 10th Floor Phoenix, AZ 85003, with the following members present: Jack Sellers, Chairman, District 1; Bill Gates, Vice Chairman, District 3 (remote); Steve Chucri, Supervisor, District 2 (remote); Clint Hickman, Supervisor, District 4 (remote); Steve Gallardo, Supervisor, District 5 (remote). Also present: Juanita Garza, Clerk; Kelly Gardiner, Minutes Coordinator; Joy Rich, County Manager (remote); Andrea Cummings, Legal Counsel (remote); 1. EXECUTIVE SESSION Vote to convene in Executive Session to consider the items on the Executive Agenda dated Tuesday, March 02, 2021, for Board of Supervisors and relevant Special Districts pursuant to the statutory authority listed for each item. Pursuant to A.R.S. § 38-431.02(D), notice is hereby given that an emergency session of the Maricopa County Board of Supervisors was held March 2, 2021, at approximately 2:00 pm at 301 W Jefferson – 10th floor, Phoenix, AZ,85003. The meeting was held with members attending either telephonically or in person. Andrea Cummings stated that the emergency was due to the need to get legal advice, regarding newly received information from the Senate concerning compliance with the election-related subpoenas.
