MARICOPA COUNTY RESOLUTION NO. C-_______________ A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS OF MARICOPA COUNTY, PHOENIX, ARIZONA AUTHORIZING THE SUBMITTAL OF GRANT APPLICATIONS FOR FUNDING FROM THE GILA RIVER INDIAN COMMUNITY AND AUTHORIZING ACCEPTANCE OF FUNDS AND PASS-THROUGH. BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS OF MARICOPA COUNTY, PHOENIX, ARIZONA AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. The Maricopa County Department of Finance is hereby authorized to submit applications for the organizations listed in Exhibit A for Proposition 202 12% Tribal Gaming Funds to the Gila River Indian Community in the not to exceed amount of $2,087,113.38. Section 2. The Maricopa County Department of Finance is hereby authorized to accept grant funds from the Gila River Indian Community and to pass through these funds to the community non-profits and County departments listed in exhibit A as awarded by the Gila River Indian Community. Section 3. The Chairman of the Maricopa County Board of Supervisors is hereby authorized to execute said grant applications, and necessary acceptance documentation.
