FIRST AMENDMENT
This serves as an amendment (the “First Amendment”) dated December 4, 2020
(the “Effective Date”) to the grant agreement dated June 17, 2020 Grant Number: G-
202005-27297 (the “Agreement”) by and between The American Society for the
Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (hereinafter, “ASPCA”), and Maricopa County
Animal Care & Control (the “Grantee”) (each a “Party” and collectively, the “Parties”).
The Parties hereby amend the Agreement as follows:
1. The Grant amount shall be increased by $25,000, for a new total of $55,000.
2. The Grant Term shall be June 17, 2020 to March 31, 2021.
3. To the extent that the Project includes specific projects and budgets, the details of
such projects and budgets are not controlling and may be revised at the Grantee’s
discretion.
4. The Agreement shall be amended to delete the second paragraph of the Grant
Reporting section in its entirety and replace it with the following:
Final Grant Reports must be submitted by April 14, 2021 (the “Final Report Due
Date”) through an airtable form or other platform prescribed by the ASPCA.
ASPCA shall provide Grantee with information on how and where to submit their
Final Grant Report by or before the Termination Date. Grantees that fail to submit
required documentation by the Final Report Due Date may jeopardize future
grants and/or grant payments.
5. Except to the extent specifically modified by this First Amendment, all provisions
of the Agreement remain in full force and effect. This First Amendment and the
Agreement constitute the entire, full and complete agreement between the Parties
concerning the subject matter hereof and supersedes all prior or contemporaneous
oral or written communications.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the Parties hereto have duly executed this First
Amendment as of the Effective Date.
