Extension Justification
1. Provide a detailed justification and explanation The county purchased COOP software renewal, the
service dates are December 1, 2019 thru November 30,
2020. In order to fully reimburse the County for the COOP
software renewal we need to extend the period of
performance from 10/1/19 to 12/1/20. With Grant funded
projects we are not allowed to go out to bid or solitct
vendors until the Board of Supervisors approves and
accepts the grant, so we will need to extend the grant
effective dates in order to match the service agreeement,
for extending the period of performance.

Receive award notification from State Homeland October 1-December 31, 2019
process acceptance through the County Board of
Supervisors. Process the annual Software Service
Agreement (12/1/19-11130/20). Provide seamless
help desk service support. OnBoard/update three (3)
new Emergency Operations Plan and three (3) new
COOP/COG efforts
