I am writing This letter in reference to Warrant # 874362 which I did not receive as a result of it being lost in the mail. I am the only person working for Gold Coast Marketing and I am operating as a sole proprietorship. I have no subordinates acting in a supervisory or administrative position. I am the only one running the business. I am the authorized signer for this affidavit. I appreciate your review and the timely disposition of my case. Yours Truly, Steven McGee President Gold Coast Marketing RECEIVED NOV 1 2 2019 MARICOPA COUNTY CLERK BOARD OF SUPERVISORS Steven McGee November 8, 2019 Gold Coast Marketing 766 Place Chateau Delray Beach, FL 33445 Maricopa County Board of Supervisors 301 Jefferson St. 10th Floor Phoenix, AZ 85003 Dear Board of Supervisors: My Name is Steven McGee, a tax lien investor operating under the DBA of Gold Coast Marketing. I have been a tax lien investor in Maricopa County since 2010. Everything has gone well with the process until now. I recently found out that one of my tax liens redeemed in May of 2018 and I never received the letter from your office. According to your tax lien department (Lisa), the lien was sent to my correct address but I never received the redemption. The letter was sent but I never received it in the mail. This is the first time one of your letters did not arrive at my residence as I keep very good records of all my checks and redemptions. According to Lisa Ivey in your tax lien department, the check # was 874362 and it was issued on 5/16/2018 in the amount of $1,195.25. Lisa says that the check was stale dated on 5/31/2019. My bidder # was 12200 at the time of purchase. I had no reason to believe there was a problem because there is a 3 year redemption period in which the tax lien can be paid. I purchased the lien in 2017 and I have until February of 2020 before the lien has to be redeemed. In addition, I never encountered any issues in the past receiving letters from you. The letters always arrived in a timely fashion and I deposited them the same day they arrive. Lisa of your tax lien department received notice from accounting that the check has not been cashed. It appears that this check was lost in the mail and never arrived at my residence. I'd like you to know that all my other checks that I have received from you over the last 10 years have all been deposited in a timely manner subsequent to receipt. I have had a good relationship with the Maricopa County Treasure's office and I hope to been one of your tax lien investors for years to come. I am asking you that you please reissue this check for the amount of $1,195.25 so that I can receive my redemption funds for this tax lien. I thank you and appreciate your time in reviewing this redemption issue and look forward to investing with you in the future. Yours Truly, Steven McGee 4;,2
