Medical Plans
Proposed changes to the Cigna HMO are as follows:
 Add Comprehensive Oncology / Cancer Support Program
 Reduce the Physical Therapy copay from $45 to $30
Proposed changes to the UnitedHealthcare PPO are as follows:
 Increase coinsurance from 15% to 25% for out-patient labs, x-rays, surgery, and
diagnostics in a hospital setting
 Increase coinsurance at a preferred lab from 0% to 15%
 Increase coinsurance at a non-preferred lab from 0% to 25%
 Reduce the Physical Therapy copay from $55 to $40
Proposed changes to the Cigna HDHP with HSA are as follows:
 Add Comprehensive Oncology / Cancer Support Program
 Approve any change in the HSA annual contribution limit for 2020 as released by
the IRS with no change to the County contribution amount
Proposed changes to the UnitedHealthcare HDHP with HSA are as follows:
 Increase coinsurance from 15% to 25% for out-patient labs, x-rays, surgery, and
diagnostics in a hospital setting
 Increase coinsurance at a non-preferred, lab from 15% to 25%
 Approve any change in the HSA annual contribution limit for 2020 as released by
the IRS with no change to the County contribution amount
 Prescription drug formulary changes 2 times per year (January and July)
Prescription Plan
Proposed changes to the OptumRx Co-Insurance Prescription Plan (HMO and PPO)
are as follows:
 Expand Diabetes Counseling program and replace (eliminate) the County’s
Diabetes Management Program
 Add Orphan Drug program
 Cover continuous glucose monitors under the medical plan and not as prescription
 Formulary changes 2 times per year (January and July)
