Appendix C: Assurances FY 2020 HRSA HAB Ending the HIV Epidemic: A Plan for America — Ryan White HIV/AIDS Program Parts A and B Funds Awards Agreements and Compliance Assurances I, the Chief Elected Official of the State, Territory, Eligible Metropolitan Area or Transitional Grant Area or her/his official designee, hereby certify that: A. Pursuant to Section 311(c) of the Public Health Service Act (42 U.S.C. § 243(c)), these funds will be used specifically for the Ending the HIV Epidemic: A Plan for America — Ryan White HIV/AIDS Program Parts A and B initiative with the goal of reducing new HIV infections by 75 percent within five years. B. Pursuant to Section 311(c) and title XXVI of the Public Health Service Act, these funds will be allocated and administered in conjunction with other HRSA HAB funding provided under title XXVI of the Public Health Service Act and subject to the conditions specified in HRSA HAB Notice of Funding Opportunity HRSA-20-078.
