Two roadways, together with all appurtenant rights, lying within Sections Twenty (20), Twenty-
one (21), Twenty-eight (28), Twenty-nine (29), Thirty-two (32), and Thirty-three (33) in
Township One (1) North, Range Two (2) East of the Gila and Salt River Base and Meridian,
Maricopa County, Arizona, said roadways being described as follows:
51st AVENUE
Roadway within the Southeast quarter (SE 1\4) of said Section 29, being; The East 120 feet of
said SE 1\4 of said Section 29; and the West 15 feet of the East 135 feet of the North 277.84 feet
of the South 352.84 feet of said Section 29; and The West 20 feet of the East 155 feet of the
North 97.39 feet of the South 172.39 feet of said Section 29; and
A triangular parcel of land in said Section 29, described as follows: Beginning, at the
intersection of the North line of the South 75 feet and the West line of the East 155 feet of said
section; THENCE, Westerly along said North line, a distance of 55 feet; THENCE, leaving said
line, in a Northeasterly direction, to the West line of the East 155 feet at a point 55 feet North
from said point of intersection; THENCE, South along said West line to the point of intersection;
Roadway within the Southwest quarter (SW 1\4) of said Section 28, being; The West 40 feet of
said Section 28; and The East 20 feet of the West 60 feet of the North 94.06 feet of the South
179.06 feet of said Section 28; and a triangular parcel of land in said Section 28, described as
follows: Beginning, at the intersection of the North line of the South 85 feet and the East line of
the West 60 feet of said section; THENCE, Easterly along said North line, a distance of 55 feet;
THENCE, leaving said line, in a Northwesterly direction, to the East line of the West 60 feet at a
point 55 feet North from said point of intersection; THENCE, South along said East line to the
point of intersection;
Roadway within the Northeast quarter (NE 1\4) of Section 29 and the Northwest quarter (NW
1\4) of Section 28 and the Southeast quarter (SE 1\4) of Section 20 and the Southwest quarter
(SW 1\4) of Section 21 said roadway being 100 feet on the West side and 200 feet on the East
side of the following described centerline:

COMMENCING at the East One-quarter corner of said Section Twenty-nine (29), also being the
Section corner common to the West One-quarter corner of Section Twenty-eight (28), THENCE
North 12°33’57” West along the East line of said Section Twenty-nine (29), a distance of
1,822.28 feet to the beginning of a tangent curve to the right; THENCE Northerly along said
curve through a central angle of 01°57’30” having a radius of 1,400 feet an arc distance of 47.85
feet to the point of Tangency; THENCE North 10°36’27” West a distance of 1,704.21 feet to the
beginning of a tangent curve to the right; THENCE Northerly along said curve through a central
angle of 04°24’33” having radius of 2,000 feet an arc distance of 153.91 feet to the point of
Tangency on the East line of said Section Twenty (20); THENCE North 06°11’54” West a
distance of 2,006.37 feet to a point, said point also being East One-quarter corner of said Section
Twenty (20), also being the Section corner common to the West One-quarter of Section Twenty-
one (21), and the terminus of the herein described centerline.
SOUTHERN AVENUE
Roadway lying within (28), Twenty nine (29), Thirty Two (32) and Thirty Three (33) in T. 1 N.,
R. 2 E., having a variable width along the following described line:
COMMENCING, at the South quarter (S 1\4) corner of said Section 29; THENCE, Easterly
along the line being the South line of said section, with a width of 160 feet, being 75 feet North
and 85 feet South of said line, to the Southeast corner of said Section 29, also being the
Southwest corner of Section 28; THENCE continuing Easterly along South line of said Section
28 with a width of 160 feet, being 85 feet North and 75 feet South of said South section line to
the South quarter (S 1\4) corner of said Section 28, to the terminus of the herein described
centerline;
EXCEPT for that area of Southern Avenue lying East of the East boundary of Phoenix
Annexation Ordinances G4392, record number 2001-0947596 and G4641, record number
2004-1130994, M.C.R.
(Said roadways also known as 51ST AVENUE BRIDGE AT SALT RIVER from Southern
Avenue to Elwood Street, and SOUTHERN AVENUE from 1\2 mile West of 51st Avenue to 1\2
mile East of 51st Avenue, lying in Supervisor District No. 5)
