RE: Harquahala Valley Irrigation District 2019 Election of Directors
Dear Ms. Medaris:
Pursuant to Arizona Revised Statutes § 16-410(A), the Harquahala Valley Irrigation District
("HVID") hereby respectfully requests that the Maricopa County Board of Supervisors cancel
the HVID election of directors scheduled and noticed for November 12, 2019. HVID has
received only one timely nomination petition to fill the single director seat up for election. The
only qualified elector nominated to fill that seat is Jerry Witt, who resides at 802 E. Encinas
Ave., Gilbert, AZ 85234. Enclosed please find a copy of the nomination petition for Mr. Witt.
