Re: Ocotillo Water Conservation District 2019 Election of Directors
Dear Ms. Medaris,
Pursuant to A.R.S. §16-410(A), Ocotillo Water Conservation District ("OWCD") hereby requests cancellation of its
election of directors scheduled and called for November 12, 2019. OWCD has received a timely nomination
petition and nomination paper from only one candidate, for the sole seat whose term is expiring. The candidate is
the current incumbent, as follows:
Andrew Basha, Director at Large
OWCD respectfully requests that the Maricopa County Board of Supervisors cancel the November 12, 2019
election, and appoint the above-named person to fill the 3-year term of Director at Large commencing January 1,
2020.
