BOARD OF DIRECTORS RESOLUTION NO. 18-0424-1
A FORMAL RESOLUTION OF THE DETERMINATION OF THE ELECTED BOARD OF
NORTH COUNTY FIRE & MEDICAL DISTRICT ORDERING THAT THE DISTRICT
BOUNDARIES BE CHANGED TO INCLUDE THAT PROPERTY (PARCEL # 503-83-507)
DESCRIBED IN EXHIBITS "A" and "B" ATTACHED HERETO:
WHEREAS, the North County Fire & Medical District Board of Directors has been presented with
a request for inclusion of the property described in Exhibit "A" attached hereto, requesting that
said property be included into the jurisdictional boundaries of the District; and
WHEREAS, the subject property is located within Maricopa County and is contiguous to the
boundaries of North County Fire & Medical District as shown on Exhibit "B" attached hereto; and
WHEREAS, all requirements of A.R.S. §48-262 have been addressed and met according to law;
and
WHEREAS, the North County Fire & Medical District Governing Board has determined that the
inclusion of the subject property within the boundaries of North County Fire & Medical District
will benefit North County Fire & Medical District and the property owners.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Governing Board of North County Fire &
Medical District does hereby find that the proposed inclusion of the property satisfies the
requirements of A.R.S. §48-262, and does hereby order the change to the District boundaries to
include the property as set forth in the attached legal description Exhibit "A" and map Exhibit "B"
in North County Fire & Medical District.
RESOLVED AND ADOPTED at a duly noticed public meeting of the Governing Board of the
North County Fire & Medical District on April 24, 2018, by a majority of the Governing Board
Members.

Board Chairman Wilson called the meeting to order on Tuesday, March 27, 2018, at 11:00 a.m.
at the Maricopa County Board of Supervisors Auditorium, 205 West Jefferson Street, Phoenix,
Arizona.

Board Member Smith moved that the Governing Board approve all items on the
Consent Agenda, including the March 2018 Monthly Financial Reports and account
reconciliations per Arizona Revised Statutes including, but not limited to, the
following: Register of Checks, Warrants, & Deposits; Statement of Financial
Activities; Statement of Net Assets; and Cash Flow Projection Report. Board
Member Smith further moved that the Governing Board approve the transfer of the
monthly ambulance and tax revenues from the North County Fire & Medical
District General Fund to the Arizona Fire & Medical Authority General Fund.
Board Clerk Cherry seconded the motion.

Board Member Smith moved that the Governing Board approve Resolution No. 18-
0424-1 approving the annexation request of Parcel No. 503-83-507, located at 24335
W. Jomax Road, Wittmann, Arizona, and more fully described in Exhibits A and B
attached to the Resolution. Board Member Miller seconded the motion. Discussion
followed.
