AMENDMENT No. 2 to REVOCABLE LICENSE AGREEMENT
BETWEEN
FIRST CHRISTIAN CHURCH of MESA, INCORPORATED
AND
MARICOPA COUNTY
This Amendment No. 2 (“Amendment”) to Revocable License Agreement No. P-50335 by and
between First Christian Church of Mesa, Incorporated, an Arizona non-profit corporation
(“Licensor”), and Maricopa County, a political subdivision of the State of Arizona (“Licensee”),
dated January 16, 2019 and subsequently amended April 24, 2019 (the “Agreement”), is made and
entered into by and between the Licensor and the Licensee, sometimes collectively hereinafter
referred to as the “Parties.”
RECITALS
A. The Agreement is for use of Licensor Property and Premises located at 805 N. Country
Club Drive, Mesa, AZ 85201.
B. The term of the Agreement expired June 30, 2019.
C. The Parties now mutually desire to enter into this Amendment No. 2 to the Agreement
(“Amendment”) to amend the Agreement to extend the term of the Agreement and delegate
authority to terminate the Agreement to Deputy County Manager or Director of Maricopa
County Real Estate Department.
AGREEMENT
NOW THEREFORE, in consideration of the foregoing and other good and valuable
consideration, the receipt and sufficiency of which are hereby acknowledged, Licensor and
Licensee agree to amend the Agreement as follows:
1. The Recitals, by this reference, are hereby incorporated into this Amendment.
2. The Agreement term is hereby extended twelve (12) months, to commence retroactively as
of July 1, 2019 and expire June 30, 2020. The Agreement is subject to termination pursuant
to the provisions of A.R.S. § 38-511, the provisions of which by this reference are
incorporated herein. Either party may terminate the Agreement with a 30-days’ prior
written notice to the other.
3. The Deputy County Manager or Director of Maricopa County Real Estate Department is
hereby given authority and charged with the responsibility of terminating the Agreement,
as amended, upon 30 days’ prior written notice to Licensor including, but not limited to,
providing the written notice therefor.

4. The effective date of this Amendment is the date of execution by Maricopa County.
5. The foregoing paragraphs contain all the changes made by this Amendment. All other
terms and conditions of the Agreement remain the same and in full force and effect.
